Vocal Chameleon, Sarah Folsom, is unlike any other I’ve had the delight of listening to and singing with. A classically trained singer of the highest pedigree, Sarah has the ability to morph her voice to be as smooth and buttery as Rosemary Clooney and as sultry, and folksy as Carole King.
— Katie Johannigman, Asst. Professor of Musical Theatre, CCM
Sarah Folsom’s voice captivated me right from the start. It was at once smoky, heartfelt, unbelievably transcendent, warm and incredibly powerful. Her vocal timbre and style might be considered a worthy successor to such great jazz figures as Sarah Vaughan and Blossom Dearie. She did an incredible service to the Cincinnati jazz scene by highlighting the career of Ms. Day, a woman who left such an indelible impact in the realm of popular songs and jazz standards...
— Connor Annable, Cincinnati Arts Critic & Patron
I have had the wonderful pleasure of working with Sarah for a number of years. She is both a consummate musical artist and an incredible human being, bringing only joy and light wherever she goes. In addition to her stunning and pristine voice, she possesses a keen ability to perform in a myriad of different styles with ease and flexibility. She is truly an asset in every rehearsal and performance.
