Hi there, I’m Sarah.

I’m a professional vocalist, voice teacher, and commercial styles coach based in Cincinnati, OH.

I’ve been performing and teaching for the past 15 years, and singing is my absolute favorite thing. It really is. Closely followed by pizza, cats, and flower gardens.

I love singing so much because it sets us free, connects us, heals us. It’s storytelling in its highest form. It is vulnerable and powerful, and it’s definitely not for wimps.

That’s also why I love teaching singing.

I love helping other artists discover the version of their voice that gives them the greatest freedom, connection, satisfaction.

So often as singers, we get bogged down with all the heaviness of other people’s opinions, busy performing schedules, fear of failure, fear of SUCCESS, and a bunch of other life garbage that totally wrecks our sense of connection to ourselves and the people we sing for.

We get scared. We get stuck. Our flow is interrupted and our thunder is stolen. We know we have something bigger and better in us, but we just STRUGGLE to dig it out and set it free.

Helping people find that bigger, better thing—that’s why I do this.

I spent many years of my singer life feeling stuck. Singing other people’s favorite music. I sang what I thought I was supposed to sing, what was impressive. I hobbled along, but it didn’t feel good. It was like, I could get the shoes on my feet, but wearing them around all day was killing me.

Finally, after two music degrees, two vocal surgeries, moving across the country, coming out, and a series of fortunate and unfortunate events, enough was enough. I was finally ready to sound like myself. To sing like ME.

And truly, that is what I want for you as well, my friend. To sing like YOU. To take the music you write, the music you love, the music you’re paid to sing, and find the most free, strong, consistent, fulfilling place to sing it from.

You can do it. I can help.
